In October, Awakening Health will be leading two Mindful Body Scan meditations at the Lupus Alliance of Michigan’s Make a Change 4 Lupus Symposium. This daylong conference is intended for those with Lupus as well as their family and supporters and will be held at Laurel Manor, 39000 Schoolcraft, Livonia from 10 am – 3 pm on October 22.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Calming the Anxious Mind – Mindful Yoga
Reconnecting with your body, through the practice of gentle mindful yoga, can be an antidote to your anxious mind. This class is appropriate for everyone, even those who have never done yoga or may have physical challenges. Bring a yoga mat or large towel.
Ending the Suffering – Mindfulness and Pain Management

Exploring Mindfulness Meditation Practice
